As part of their Environment Programme Fleetwood and Cleveleys Lions Club have sponsored three plant stands in Fleetwood. Two at Ash Street and one by the Ferry. Pictured are members of the Club and Dawn from Wyre Borough Council who provided the plant stands.

Success After 15 Years
Harrogate Lions were very pleased that this year they were able to once again take a group to the Doncaster Fun and Sports Day.
For many years the Club have had problem from barriers and red tape, but this year thanks to determination and hard work the problems were
solved and success was achieved. The Club was delighted to take 8 members from the Harrogate PHAB club to Doncaster where they had a wonderful day.
With 8 medal and 3 trophies, it was success all around, and the Club was asked by the group on the coach
travelling home, “Can we please do it again next year?”
Lions President of Harrogate Lions Carol commented, “This was a special day out for these people and to see the joy on their faces were wonderful, we were pleased that we to be able to make it happen.”
