Celebrating Their 50th Birthday!
The South Leicestershire Gateway Club celebrated their 50th birthday with a great party, attended by the club members, past members and friends. Oadby & Wigston Lions Club have been friends and helpers of the Gateway Club for over 30 years and had a great time looking after the barbecue, organising games and generally making sure all had a great
time. The Mayor and Mayoress of Oadby & Wigston came a long and joined in with all the events including the medieval stocks: with the Mayor trapped in, the Mayoress Clln. Lyn Eaton and the Lions President Jenny Fyfe threatened him with some very wet sponges!
