Foreword
The world confronts multiple crises, each resisting current e orts at resolution and appears intractable. Yet, we rise to the challenge, undeterred. Responsibility overcomes obstacles, love overpowers trepidation.
That much or more can be said about women. From the ruthlessness and ambition of Lady Macbeth and Margaret of Anjou to the con dence and wit of Rosalind, Viola and Portia, it is often said that Shakespeare gave his best lines to women. Through centuries, women have been embraced as a force to be reckoned with.
There are women and there are real women. What sets them apart? Women who love themselves and are con dent of their abilities without needing validation. They embrace their ethnicity, religion, color, shape and size without fear - these are the real and strong women.
I have always believed in leading with humanity and softness of heart yet valiant in implementation and decision-making. This belief has carried me through my career path to where I am today. To all women out there, let nothing take you away from your existence as ‘YOU are entirely up to YOU!’
