RBI gave in-principle approval to Airtel payments bank
Airtel M Commerce Services (AMSL), a subsidiary of Bharti Airtel, on 11 April 2016 was granted the first
payments bank license from Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
AMSL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Airtel, which offers mobile money services under the brand name
Airtel Money.
Maha CM Fadnavis launches ‘mission drinking water’, says
investors’ confidence intact despite drought
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis launched ‘Mission Drinking Water’.
The Centre and the state are working together to reach out to drought-stricken districts of Marathwada.
The Maharashtra Drought Relief Committee headed by Agriculture Minister Eknath Khadse and
Opposition leader Radhakrishna Patil has been constituted.
Through the drinking water schemes, 83 projects are being pushed in 11,000 villages for immediate relief.
