Delhi to go car-free on Jan. 22
The whole of Delhi and not just a select stretch or location – as has
been the case on two car-free days in the past will forego private four
wheelers on January 22 next year.
India at 5th spot in ease of doing biz in clean energy
Considering India’s policy reforms in the renewable energy sector,
Bloomberg New Energy Finance has ranked the country fifth in its
list of 30 Countries on ease of doing business in the renewable energy
space.
The ranking done for Bloomberg New Energy Finance’s annual
Climatescope Report indicates that clean energy’s centre of gravity
is shifting from developed to developing countries. It’s a positive sign
for the India’s economy.
Norms to curb tax evasion by Indian multinationals soon

In an attempt to tighten loopholes to deter tax evasion by Indian
multinational companies, the government is set to come out with
guidelines on place of effective management (POEM).
