G-20 SUMMIT
The 2015 G-20 Antalya summit was the Tenth meeting of the G-20 heads of government.
It was held in A An nt ta al ly ya a, , T Tu ur rk ke ey y on 15-16 November 2015.
The venue for the Leaders Summit was R Re eg gn nu um m C Ca ar ry ya a H Ho ot te el l C Co on nv ve en nt ti io on n C Ce en nt tr re e.
Turkey officially took over the presidency of the G-20 from Australia on 1st December 2014.
China would be the next Head in 2016 followed by Germany and in 2018 it
G-20 would be I In ndia.
Members India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia,
Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, The United Kingdom
The United States, The European Union
In 2015 Turkey had invited “Spain” as a permanent invitee
“Malaysia” as the 2015 Chair of the Association of South-East Asian Nations (ASEAN)
“Zimbabwe”, as 2015 Chair of the African Union;
“Senegal” representing New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD)

The G20 Presidency rotates annually according to a system that ensures a regional balance over
time.
the presidency is supported by a “t tr ro oi ik ka a” ” made up of the current, immediate past and next host
countries.
During Turkey’s presidency, the members of the G20 troika were T Tu ur rk ke ey y, , A Au us st tr ra al li ia a a an nd d C Ch hi in na a. .
The Next Presidency would go to China, India would be included in the Troika at the summit in
