Govt to sell 5% in NTPC at Rs 122, eyes Rs 5,000

Government will sell 5% stake in India's largest power producer NTPC at a
floor price of Rs 122 per share to raise Rs 5,029 crore.
NTPC is the first company to hit the markets under the revised offer for sale
(OFS) guidelines of market regulator Sebi.
A method of bringing a company to the stockmarket by selling shares in a
new issue. The company sponsor offers shares to the public by inviting
subscriptions from investors.
BARC Director K. N. Vyas new chief
Scientist K. N .Vyas was appointed Director of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre
(BARC).
He succeeds ShekarBasu.
Congress rebel sworn in as Arunachal CM
