 The government has extended the usage of the RuPay debit cards in
order to avail of the in-built insurance cover, according to a press

statement issued.

 Earlier, cardholders had to use the card within 45 days prior to claim
the insurance claim.

 This has now been extended to 90 days.

 The National Payment Corporation has extended the usage clause to
90 days for RuPay Classic cardholders from November 25.

 Only accidents arising on or after November 25 will be considered for
the extended period.

 Under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana 16.54 crore accounts

have been provided a RuPay debit card.

 Ola appoints Rajiv Bansal as CFO

 App-based cab operator Ola has appointed Rajiv Bansal

It’s Chief Financial Officer.
 Mr Bansal, who has resigned from Infosys, will join in January next

year.

 Mr Bansal, who has over 21 years of experience in finance with over
16 years at Infosys, will be part of Ola’s core leadership team.

 Mitesh Shah, who is currently the CFO, will lead strategic finance

initiatives as part of Rajiv’s team.
